Hackintosh Saturday, September 14, 2024 What is it? A Hackintosh is a non-Apple computer that has been modified to run macOS, the operating system designed by Apple for their Mac computers. Since Apple designs macOS to run exclusively on its own hardware, running it on other hardware (like a custom-built PC or laptop) typically requires modifications and workarounds.
Why do it? Simply just for fun. I have an old laptop that can wipe and then install the MACos. Just need to find that laptop!
It is still early days but this is on my list of things to do.

Using your GPU and not just for games Saturday, September 7, 2024
If you have a fairly up to date NVIDIA GPU then you can assign the GPU to specific programs, this will help your CPU out a bit.
Open the NVIDIA control panel and Mange 3D settings, here you can see that you can select a Program via pressing the Add button.
Select the program you want or if the program is not there you want, you can browse for it. Once it is added, you can open the Task Manager and click on Performance to see the GPU and then open your program you just added and monitor the GPU.
That is it! Perhaps don't add too many and have them all running at the same time, I have a feeling things may get HOT!
